“Sustainable Community Benefits through Social Enterprises: An Approach to Organizational Sustainability of the CCDI Network” Project Goal and Objectives: Goal: More vibrant effective grassroots civic activism through development of the CCDI network’s organizational sustainability. Objectives: • Heightened understanding and appreciation, within the network, of organizational sustainability (all aspects) and of CCDI’s sustainability. • Developed and tested sustainability approaches (including institutional, programmatic and financial aspects) generated by the network. • Developed model of sustainability for the network field offices and sustainability approaches for the organization at large. • Enhanced community-level benefits in the locales of the network offices. Timing of the Project: 12 months. October 1, 2004 to September 31, 2005.
